This beautiful machine has shared nearly all of it's life with its current owner who wanted to breathe new life into it.
A Resto-mod with a Brit-Scram/Tracker feel. Big clean up with some extra punch.
Stripped to its bear bones and rebuilt with plenty of modifications, this machine had to keep and show its true colours.
The Mods
Far too many to list but started with a strip down to frame for a full rebuild.
Engine inspection and reworked including top end rebuild with new oversized pistons, rings and pins.
Amal Carbs rebuilt with velocity stacks, fuel line assembly and balanced.
Wheels rebuilt to 18" front & 18" rear oversized rims, stainless steel spokes and nickel nipples. Front hub turned for twin disc conversion using AP Racing Twin disc kit. Uprated front brake reservoir and rear brake race reservoir.
Ride height increased with YSS 13" adjustable shocks. Front suspension rebuild with new stanchions and seals.
Custom wiring loom using adapted new Lucas loom. Charging system uprated to 3phase system with digital rectification and battery. single dual output coil pack, MotoGadget LED turn signals front and rear. LED headlight, digital clocks conversion.
Tank raise, rear sets, flat-track handle bars, reconditioned original controls and new levers.
Custom parts include turn signal brackets, ignition switch relocation and bracket, battery/electrical rack, chain guard, rear guard bracket and license plate holder.
Paint to new brackets as required, polished aluminium for others. Frame, swing arm and tank all restored to original protected condition.
